Designed to deliver high-end amenities at a discounted price, the Phaeton Premium boasts exclusive leather ergo-comfort seats which have the seal of approval from the Federal Association of German Back & Spinal Schools (Bundesverband der deutschen Rückenschulen e.V.).
The model also comes with additional safety equipment including adaptive cruise control, Front Assist, Dynamic Light Assist and traffic sign recognition technology. There's also a rear view camera, an upgraded alarm and a tire pressure monitoring system.
Styling changes are limited, but the car features 18-inch Dynamic-style alloy wheels.
The premium package will be offered across the Phaeton lineup and the entry-level V6 TDI variant is priced from €82,145.
