Mercedes SLS AMG GT3 45th Anniversary Edition roars into Sao Paulo [video]

Mercedes has officially unveiled the SLS AMG GT3 45th Anniversary Edition at the Sao Paulo Motor Show.

Mercedes has officially unveiled the SLS AMG GT3 45th Anniversary Edition at the Sao Paulo Motor Show.

Described as an "exclusive collector's item," the bespoke race car is distinguished by a designo magno graphite matte exterior and "45 Years of Driving Performance" logos on the doors.

Interior changes are minor but include matte carbon fiber trim, an individually-numbered badge and a roll cage that has been painted designo magno graphite to match the exterior.

Buyers will take delivery of the car at Mercedes-AMG in Affalterbach, Germany. They will be given a tour of the factory and personal instruction by AMG brand ambassador Bernd Schneider. Upon request, buyers can hit the track for a one-on-one coaching session.

Production will be limited to five units and German pricing starts at €446,250 (including 19% VAT).
