Bugatti President Wolfgang Schreiber has revealed the ultra-luxurious Galibier is facing significant delays.

In an interview with Autocar, Schreiber said "We are still working on the Galibier concept, but I would say it is more difficult to fulfill all the requirements for Bugatti customers than Bentley customers." He went on to explain that the company is having difficulties trying to satisfy the brand's diverse customer base, which has slowed development.

According to Schreiber, "The Veyron and derivatives of the Veyron are very focused on the needs of the customers. If you now switch to a different type of car, it is very necessary to evaluate the needs of the customer."

Despite the problems, the executive says the model is "absolutely necessary" and he fully supports it. Unfortunately, the company still hasn't pinned down a launch date.
