The entry-level model is sparsely equipped but includes automatic climate control, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and Bluetooth connectivity. Moving up to the $26,990 SE variant adds keyless entry, a touchscreen infotainment system and LED taillights.

Climbing further up the ladder, the $29,325 SEL has all the aforementioned equipment as well as a sunroof, a navigation system, heated front seats and 16-inch alloy wheels. Lastly, the range-topping SEL Premium costs $31,180 and features bi-xenon headlights, a Fender audio system and 17-inch alloy wheels.

All models are powered by a 1.4-liter TSI engine that is backed up by an electric motor. This gives the car a combined output of 170 hp (127 kW) and 184 lb-ft (249 Nm) of torque.  It enables the sedan to accelerate from 0-60 mph in less than 9.0 seconds and average approximately 45 mpg US (5.2 L/100km / 54.0 mpg UK).
