Holden Special Vehicles (HSV) is celebrating their 25th anniversary by introducing a special edition GTS.

Looking virtually identical to the standard model, the anniversary edition is distinguished by "vector" hood and side vents as well as 20-inch alloy wheels with a Satin Graphite finish. There's also special badging, a "superflow" rear spoiler and a bi-modal exhaust system.

Interior changes are limited but include embroidered headrests and commemorative badging on the center stack.

Power is provided by a 6.2-liter V8 engine that develops 436 hp (325 kW / 442 PS). If that sounds a little thirsty, the car can be equipped with a liquid propane injection system which promises to "substantial fuel savings combined with unrivalled performance."

Production will be limited to 140 units, but there's no word on pricing.
