Several patent photos of the McLaren P1 have surfaced online, ahead of the concept's debut at the Paris Motor Show.

While there isn't much to see, the images reveal the supercar will have a unique rear spoiler which automatically raises and tilts forward to act as an airbrake. The Mercedes-McLaren SLR had a similar system, but the one on the P1 appears significantly larger.

Specifications remain a mystery, but previous reports have suggested the car could use a 3.8-liter V8 engine and a Kinetic Energy Recovery System (KERS) for a combined maximum output of 963 hp (718 kW). This could enable the supercar to accelerate from 0-100 km in 2.8 seconds and hit a top speed of approximately 384 km/h (239 mph).
