Rolls-Royce CEO Torsten Müller-Ötvös has downplayed the possibility of a crossover, but a new report is indicating the company is seriously considering a challenger to Bentley's SUV.

The discussions are reportedly at an early stage, but it appears the reaction to the EXP 9 F concept has Rolls-Royce rethinking their anti-SUV stance.

Board member Harald Kreuger also revealed the company is considering a new range-topping model that would slot above the Phantom Drophead Coupe. It would reportedly cost "substantially more" than the convertible, but little else is known about it.

In the short term, we can expect an onslaught of special editions as well as coupe and convertible variants of the Ghost.
