Honda CEO Takanobu Ito has announced the company will launch a new fuel cell vehicle (FCV) in 2015.

Details are limited, but the model will "showcase further technological advancement and significant cost reduction that Honda has accomplished." It will likely replace the FCX Clarity and is scheduled to be sold in Europe, Japan and the United States.

Ito also revealed that future products will be developed concurrently across the globe. This will significantly reduce costs and enable new models to be introduced in various regions "within a short period of time."
