The 2013 Buick Encore will have a starting price of $24,950 (including the $750 destination charge).
General Motors has announced this week that the upcoming 2013 Buick Encore will have a starting price of $24,950 (including the $750 destination charge) when it arrives at dealers in Q1 2013. As standard, the small crossover is fitted with 18-inch alloy wheels, a rearview camera, QuietTuning with Bose Active Noise Cancellation, along with a 7-inch, full-color high-resolution display with IntelliLink connectivity.
It will be available in four trim levels, with the entry-level variant listed above, followed by the Convenience Group ($25,760) which adds an auto-dimming rearview mirror, a 120-volt outlet, dual-zone climate control, fog lights and remote start. There’s also the Leather Group ($27,460) that has all the features of the previous two trims and adds leather upholstery, heated steering wheel and front seats, driver’s seat memory functions and a power passenger seat.
The top-spec Premium Group ($28,940) comes with the previous goods and adds to that list a seven-speaker Bose audio system with subwoofer, Lane Departure Warning and Forward Collision Alert systems, front and rear park assist, area cargo mat and a cargo net, as well as rain-sensing windshield wipers.
Regardless of the trim level, all 2013 Buick Encore versions are powered by a 4-cylinder, 1.4-liter turbocharged gasoline engine that produces 138 hp (103 kW) and a peak torque of 148 lb-ft (200 Nm). Those who want an AWD system have to pay an extra $1,500.
