The third generation of the Kia Carens is set to make its first public appearance next week at the 2012 Paris Motor Show, before reaching the dealerships in the beginning of next year. Kia says that the new compact MPV has been developed from the ground-up and it’s an entirely new car “designed and engineered to meet the needs of modern families.”
The 2013 Kia Carens will be capable of accommodating up to seven people thanks to its long wheelbase, with the interior cabin providing stylish and spacious practicality, according to the South Korean carmaker.
Described to have a cab-forward design and sleek aerodynamics, the new Carens will be showcased in Paris along with the new pro_cee’d and two model versions that up until now were not available in Europe, the Sorento with an all-new 2.4-liter 192 PS GDI engine and the Optima Hybrid with a new 2.0-liter engine.
