Toyota has announced plans to offer an updated FJ Cruiser Trail Teams special edition.
Pictures were not released, but the company says the model will feature a Cement Grey exterior with black accents and Toyota Racing Development (TRD) alloy wheels with BF Goodrich All-Terrain tires.
Moving onto the cabin, there's Cement Grey accents (on the seats, doors and steering wheel) as well as additional standard equipment including a rearview camera and TRD sill plates. There's also a 10-speaker JBL audio system and aluminum shift / transfer case knobs.
The styling changes are relatively minor, but engineers have put a greater emphasis on making the vehicle more capable. As such, they installed Bilstein shock absorbers, a locking rear differential and underbody skid plates.
Like the standard model, the Trail Teams is powered by a 4.0-liter V6 engine that produces 260 hp (194 kW / 264 PS) and 271 lb-ft (367 Nm) of torque.
