A purported picture of the BMW 1-Series GT has leaked to the web, ahead of its official debut at the Paris Motor Show.

The latest issue of AutoBild has the silhouette of the BMW 1-Series GT on the cover with the words "Still Secret!" on top of it. However, an unedited version of the cover has apparently leaked to the web revealing the model in all its front-wheel drive glory.

Looking better than expected, the compact MPV has an aggressive front fascia with a prominent grille and sweptback headlights. There's also a distinctive greenhouse, aluminum accents and five-spoke alloy wheels.

As we have previously reported, the 1-Series GT will ride on UKL platform that will also underpin the next-generation MINI Cooper. Engine options remain unconfirmed, but choices are expected to include a variety of three- and four-cylinders.

The 1-Series GT will debut at the Paris Motor Show and the new issue of AutoBild will hit newsstands tomorrow. This could mean an official announcement is imminent.

Thanks for the tip Cameron!
