Aston Martin Vanquish hits the street [video]

Designed to replace the DBS, the Vanquish is powered by a 6.0-liter V12 engine that produces 573 PS (565 hp / 421 kW) and 620 Nm (457 lb-ft) of torque.

Aston Martin has released a new promotional video plus 45 new photos for the 2013 Vanquish.

Designed to replace the DBS, the Vanquish features evolutionary styling that borrows a number of cues from the Virage and One-77. Notable highlights include a ventilated hood, a carbon fiber front splitter and 20-inch alloy wheels with Pirelli P Zero tires.

Power is provided by a 6.0-liter V12 engine that produces 573 PS (565 hp / 421 kW) and 620 Nm (457 lb-ft) of torque. It is connected to a six-speed Touchtronic 2 transmission which enables the car to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 4.1 seconds and hit a top speed of 295 km/h (183 mph).

The Vanquish will go on sale later this year and U.K. pricing starts at £189,995.
