Alfa Romeo’s UK division has announced this week the introduction of the Sportiva trim for the MiTo and Giulietta models. The MiTo comes with all the goodies offered by the Distinctive trim as well as other additional equipment worth 1,500 pounds, but costing only an extra 750 pounds.
It rolls on bespoke 18-inch Quadrifoglio Verde alloys and comes with Sportiva badges and sports kick plates. Inside there’s a black & green theme with a darkened headlining and a leather-wrapped black steering wheel and handbrake. It also sports black Alcantara seat upholstery with green stitching.
As for the Giulietta, the Sportiva trim level is based on the existing Veloce and adds 18-inch alloys with a dark titanium finish, along with oversized red Brembo brake calipers. It also features a leather upholstery, sport kick plates and a rear armrest. The customer pays an extra of 1,860 pounds and gets additional equipment worth 3,000 pounds.
The MiTo Sportiva is offered with three engines: 875cc TwinAir with 85 hp, 1.4 MultiAir with 135 hp and 1.6 JTD with 120 hp. The Giuletta comes with a choice of six engines and the recently introduced semi-automatic, twin dry-clutch ALFA TCT that is available starting from 23,110 pounds for the version equipped with the 1.6 JTD engine.
