MBBS-Evosport has unveiled their Mercedes CLK 63 AMG Black Series race car.
Set to compete in the Pirelli World Challenge GT class, the car is a "culmination of a years' worth of development, fabrication, [and] testing." It originally started as an Evosport-tuned street car, but was transformed into a race car that will compete with everything from Chevrolet Corvettes to the Audi R8 LMS.
The model will be driven by Craig Stanton, who is a former champion of the Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge and the Rolex Sports Car Series. In a statement, he said "The car is absolutely gorgeous and I can't wait for the racing world to see what the guys at Evosport Engineering have been working on this year. It is a work of art, and in my experience, cars that look fast are fast."
