The 2013 Mercedes-Benz E400 Hybrid has been priced at $55,800 in the United States.
Revealed at the beginning of the year along with the E 300 BlueTEC Hybrid, the E400 Hybrid is now available for order in the United States, with prices starting from $55,800. The model is motivated by a V6 gasoline engine that generates 302 hp (225 kW / 306 PS) and 273 lb-ft (370 Nm) of torque, along with an extra 184 lb-ft (250 Nm) produced by the 20 kW electric motor.
The 2013 Mercedes-Benz E400 Hybrid is capable of returning 24 mpg in the city, 31 mpg on the highway and 27 mpg in the combined cycle. It needs 6.7 seconds to do the 0-60 mph sprint, on its way to a maximum speed of 130 mph (209 km/h). Unlike the aforementioned E 300 BlueTEC Hybrid which is also available as a wagon, the E400 Hybrid is being sold in the U.S. only as a sedan.
