KIA has revealed the first official photos of the Cerato (Forte) compact sedan, a car which will be sold as the K3 in their home market. The vehicle was revealed for the first time at a mall in South Korea but now we have the official images showcasing the new model looks.
Kia plans on rolling out coupe and hatchback variants of the car that in some markets will be known as the Cerato. Kia hasn't confirmed if the car will make it to Europe but will likely inherit the Cerato name.
Kia says that the new generation of the Cerato is "longer, lower and wider than the current car", mentioning also that the wheelbase has increased so the cabin should be more spacious.
According to Kia, the new generation Cerato / Forte / K3 adopts a dynamic and futuristic styling, while the profile is now sleeker in comparison to the outgoing model. The South Korean company has also said that the new model features a chrome-finished beltline, as well as LED front and rear lamps.
