Cadillac's highly-anticipated flagship will reportedly be previewed by a new concept that will be unveiled early next year.

Details are limited, but Autocar says the model will be heavily influenced by the Ciel concept which received critical acclaim when it was introduced at the 2011 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance. Despite this, sources are indicating it will be toned down and stress "premiumness" instead of raw emotion.

As we have previously reported, the production model is slated to ride on the Omega platform and could feature a turbocharged V6 or a naturally-aspirated V8. The car could be launched as early as 2015, so expect to learn more in the coming months and years.
