Toyota and PSA Peugeot Citroën have a signed an agreement that will see the company getting a rebadged version of the Peugeot Expert / Citroen Jumpy.

The model will be sold in Europe and launched in mid-2013. Toyota will also receive a version of the next-generation model, in return for an "appropriate share" of its development and production costs.

According to Toyota Europe CEO, Didier Leroy, "Toyota and PSA already make compact passenger vehicles for the European market under a joint-venture in the Czech Republic. We regard the light commercial vehicle market in Europe to be important for us and we aim to combine our strengths with PSA to meet the needs of European consumers."
