Modestly updated, the models feature a new front fascia, redesigned headlights and a modified rear bumper. The overall design echoes the Jetta and brings the cars up-to-date with Volkswagen's new styling direction.
Interior changes are limited, but include updated upholstery, revised air vents, new HVAC controls and an improved audio system.
Under the hood, two flex-fuel engines are available. The 1.0-liter unit develops 72 PS (53 kW / 71 hp) and 95 Nm (70 lb-ft) of torque on petrol, while 1.6-liter engine produces 101 PS (74 kW / 100 hp) and 151 Nm (111 lb-ft) of torque on petrol.
