Aston Martin has held a glitzy bash the London Film Museum to unveil the new Vanquish for the first time. It was attended by more than 500 owners, enthusiasts and celebrities as CEO Dr Ulrich Bez showcased the vehicle for the first time.

The new model succeeds the Aston Martin DBS and sees the grand tourer return to its original Vanquish name after a gap of five years. It comes with an upgraded 6.0-liter V12 engine that produces 565 bhp (573 PS / 421 kW) and 620 Nm (457 lb-ft) of torque via a Touchtronic 2 six-speed automatic gearbox.


Customers will have to part with £189,995 to get their hands on the new Aston Martin Vanquish with the first deleiveries scheduled to occur before the end of the year.
