Following last week's leaked photos, Seat has officially released additional photos and first details of the all-new Toledo.

Looking almost the same as the Toledo concept which debuted at the Geneva Motor Show earlier this year, the 5-door compact is essentially a rebadged version of the recently unveiled Skoda Rapid.

The new Toledo measures 4.48 meters long with a wheelbase of 2602mm (80mm longer than the previous Toledo II). Unlike its predecessor which had a conventional boot lid, the new Toledo features a large wide-opening rear hatch.

Initial engines available at launch include the usual Volkswagen Group units. They are:

  • 1.2-liter TSI producing 75 PS (55 kW / 74 hp) and CO2 emissions of 116 g/km
  • 1.4-liter TSI producing 122 PS (90 kW / 120 hp)
  • 1.6-liter TDI with outputs of 105 PS (77 kW / 104 hp) and CO2 emissions of 104 g/km
  • During 2013, SEAT will add a 90 PS (66 kW / 89 hp) TDI variant

Market lauch of the all-new Seat Toledo will first take place in Spain and Portugal in mid-November followed by the rest of Europe during 2013.
