As part of their Exclusive personalization programe, Porsche has announced the a new Powerkit developed for the 911 Carrera S as well as new Sport Design and Aerokit Cup exterior body packages.

Power output is increased from the 3.8-liter boxer engine from 400 hp (294 kW) to 430 hp (316 kW). AS a result, the 911 Carrera S takes only 4.0 seconds to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h with PDK in Sport Plus mode. Top speed is also increased by four km/h to 306 km/h with PDK and 308 km/h with a seven-speed manual gearbox. Despite a power increase of over seven percent, fuel economy is not affected as the consumption figures in the NEDC remain unchanged thanks to careful ECU tuning.

The Powerkit includes new cylinder heads, camshafts, new variable resonance intake system and an additional center radiator. Also included is a sport exhaust system with button activated sound volume control and the Sport Chrono package with dynamic engine mounts. The only indication that a vehicle is equipped with the Powerkit is the titanium colored engine cover.

Porsche Exclusive also offers new aerodynamic body components such as a front apron with air intakes from the Sport Design package as well as a "ducktail" rear spoiler. A new Aerokit Cup with an additional fixed rear wing over the rear spoiler and a special front spoiler lip with additional air intakes is also available.
