BMW Individual has announced an exclsuive 7-Series designed by up-and-coming Indonesian fashion designer Didit Hediprasetyo.

On the market already since May 2012, the BMW Individual 7-Series special edition is limited to only five units. Although designed in close collaboration with BMW Individual designers, prospective owners can still add their own preferences.

Considered BMW's first collaboration with an Asian designer, the Individual 7-Series by Didit Hediprasetyo was inspired by "the image of a lavender sky at sunrise in a serene desert landscape," lending to bright pastel tones both inside and out. The exterior is Frozen Diamond Metallic finish while the full leather interior has Merino Silk Grey leather with contrasting leather piping in Merino Platinum. Silk Grey is the dominant color also with the Alcantara or fulled nappa leather on the roof headliner, the A, B and C-pillars, the sun visors and the rear shelf. As a contrasting element, various interior trim pieces are finished in Piano Black lacquer while the floor mats are lined with black ostrich leather.

Exclusive details include the Didit Hediprasetyo logo embossed headrests, two platinum-toned ostrich leather pillows, BMW Individual refrigerator box with champagne glass holders in the rear center armrest, silk grey leather lined folding table, seat-back monitors, a dog basket finished in silk grey leather/Alcantara and a vanity compartment built into the roof liner.
