Skoda has released two teaser images of the forthcoming Skoda Rapid compact sedan. The first photo is a closeup shot of the front grille and hood with emblem and the second is the rear tailight. Meanwhile, our spy photogrpahers have sent us these fresh images of the vehicle on the road almost uncovered.

Previewed as the MissionL concept, Skoda has already confirmed the vehicle will arrive on the market in Europe before year's end with minimal changes and will be positioned between the Fabia and the Octavia. Not to be confused with the Skoda Rapid sold in India, the European Rapid will also be released in China in 2013.

Last week we posted the first photo of the Rapid rolling down a motorway in the Czech Republic supposedly without camouflage. However, our eagle eyed WCF member kryst_PL spotted stickers over the tailights hiding their true design. In these latest spy photos we have an even clearer view, however, in this teaser image of the tailight, the design is different from the MissionL's.

Hopefully, we'll know more in the coming weeks.

Thanks to Walter for the tip!
