The VE commodore first made its debut in Pontiac attire at this year's Chicago Auto Show and now gets a special SEMA Edition out-fitted with some modest customizations.

The General is finally getting its ducks in order as it readies the official launch of the Pontiac G8 performance sedan which arrives in U.S. dealerships in early 2008. Built upon GM's new global rear-wheel-drive Zeta platform, the G8 is originally developed by Holden, GM's Australia subsidiary, as the Holden VE Commodore packing a 6.0 liter small-block V8 producing 361hp (268kW). The VE commodore first made its debut in Pontiac attire at this year's Chicago Auto Show and now gets a special SEMA Edition out-fitted with some modest customizations. They include hot orange paint scheme with matching leather seats, door panels and dashboard panel.
