Here on WCF there are many articles announcing new tuning packages for various vehicles, but rarely do we ever get to see the cars in action. But thanks to our supercar chasing friend Marchettino, we get to hear and see.

Here on WCF there are many articles announcing new tuning packages for various vehicles, but rarely do we ever get to see the cars in action. But thanks to our supercar chasing friend Marchettino, we get to hear and see a Porsche Carrera GT, which has been tuned by Edo Competition, having fun at Imola cirucit in Italy.

Back in 2007 we reported Edo Competition's Carrera GT tuning package consisted of a modified air intake system, reprogrammed ECU, sport air filters, new catalytic converters and a performance exhaust system with butterfly-valve control. As a result, the 5.5-liter V10 produces 770 HP (566 kW / 759 bhp) compared to the standard 612 HP (450 kW / 603 bhp). In the case of this Carrera GT with Russian tags, Marchettino tells us it has straight pipes (no catalysts) which must be good for a few extra ponies.

Other enhancements include a massive carbon fiber rear wing, 3-way adjustable shock absorbers and sport suspension system, 18 inch forged 5-spoke wheels are wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport Cup tires in sizes 265/35-18 front and 345/30-18 rear.
