BMW has released a batch of 100 photos and in depth details of their new facelifted X1 SAV ahead of its official launch in the US this fall.
The exterior has received only minor changes which include a new front bumper and slightly remodeled headlights, new side mirrors, freshly designed taillights and a modestly updated rear bumper.
Those looking to add a little extra aggression can opt for the newly available xLine and Sport Line trims that compliment the M Sport package. The xLine trim includes extended bumpers and sideskirts, a Titanium Silver matt finish for the grille and air intakes as well as a set of exclusive 18-inch alloys in Y-spoke design. Meanwhile, the Sport Line consists of similarly extended bumpers and sideskirts, exclusive 18-inch double-spoke light alloys, black chrome tailpipe tips and a grille and front air intakes finished in black high-gloss.
The highlight of the engine updates is the new BMW X1 xDrive35i that is exclusive to the North American market. It employs a TwinPower Turbo 3.0-liter inline 6-cylinder unit that generates 300hp (304PS / 224kW) and 406Nm (300lb-ft) of torque.
Pricing for the BMW X1 will begin at $31,545 which includes the $895 destination and handing charge.
