The Volvo XC90 is celebrating its tenth anniversary by adopting a number of changes for the 2013 model year.

On the styling front, the crossover gains body-color bumpers, side skirts and wheel arches. There's also a new bumper bar, "silk matte" mirrors and restyled 18-inch alloy wheels. The R-Design also has  a monotone exterior, but is distinguished by new LED daytime running lights and 19-inch alloy wheels.

Interior changes are limited but include "sanded silver" aluminum trim, white instrumentation lighting and a leather strap on the tailgate. Premier Plus and Platinum models also receive Sovereign leather seats, red wood trim and unique floor mats.

Under the hood, US-spec models are powered by a 3.2-liter six-cylinder engine that produces 240 hp (179 kW / 243 PS) and 236 lb-ft (320 Nm) of torque. It is connected to a six-speed automatic transmission which can be paired to an optional all-wheel drive system.

The 2013 Volvo XC90 is currently on sale and U.S. pricing starts at $39,500.
