Subaru has announced the BRZ will be priced from £24,995 (OTR) in the United Kingdom.

Despite its modest price tag, the model will come nicely equipped with dual-zone climate control, keyless entry and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. Other highlights include a six-speaker audio system, a limited-slip differential and 17-inch alloy wheels.

If that isn't luxurious enough, the range-topping variant starts at £26,495 (OTR) and features all the aforementioned equipment as well as heated leather seats. Furthermore, both the SE and SE Lux models can be ordered with a navigation system (£1,000), metallic paint (£500) and a six-speed automatic transmission (£1,500).

Like the Toyota 86, the Subaru BRZ is powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder boxer engine that produces 200 PS (147 kW / 197 hp) and 205 Nm (151 lb-ft). It enables the model to accelerate from 0-60 mph in as little as 6.4 seconds, while emitting 164-181 grams of CO2 per km.
