According to a recent report, Porsche is developing a high-performance Cayenne S Diesel. It could use an Audi-sourced V8 engine with 350 PS (258 kW / 345 hp).
Porsche is reportedly preparing to introduce a Cayenne S Diesel.
According to Car & Driver, the crossover will feature a V8 engine with an output that should "far exceed" the Cayenne Diesel's 3.0-liter V6 that develops 245 PS (180 kW / 242 bhp) and 550 Nm (406 lb-ft) of torque. There's no word on which engine will be used, but one possible candidate is Audi's 4.2-liter TDI which produces 350 PS (258 kW / 345 hp) and 800 Nm (590 lb-ft) of torque.
Regardless of the final specifications, the Cayenne S Diesel is expected to be offered exclusively in Europe.
