Nissan Deltawing racecar development chronicled on video

Nissan is beginning a tell-all series of videos chronicling the development of the Deltawing experimental racecar and here is the first episode for you to feast your eyes upon.

It features the race car's preparation before and during its 3000 mile trip to the Windshear wind tunnel facility in Charlotte, North Carolina.

The Deltawing is due to start its European testing next week in preparation for its debut at the Le Mans 24 hours race in June when it will compete outside race classifications.

It uses a Nissan sourced 1.6-liter DIG-T (Direct Injection Gasoline - Turbocharged) engine that generates 300hp (224 kW / 304 PS) and will feature technology that will eventually find their way into the brand's street legal cars.
