Andy Pfeiffenberger, the vice president of Lexus Europe, has revealed the company is considering an entry-level crossover to battle the Audi Q5 and BMW X3.

Andy Pfeiffenberger, the vice president of Lexus Europe, has revealed the company is considering an entry-level crossover to battle the Audi Q5 and BMW X3.

Speaking with Auto Express, Pfeiffenberger said "We have been very slow to come to the market with a downsized SUV. This is an area of our range that you will see develop over the next few years."

He declined to go into specifics, but the magazine is reporting the model will be hybrid and cost approximately £30,000.
