The first undisguised interior pictures of the 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe (ix45) have surfaced online, ahead of the crossover's debut at the New York Auto Show.

The first undisguised interior pictures of the 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe (ix45) have surfaced online, ahead of the crossover's debut at the New York Auto Show.

As you see, the model will feature a significantly improved cabin with higher quality materials and a modern design. Notable highlights include a two-tone dashboard, a sporty steering wheel and plenty of metallic accents. There's also an infotainment system, a digital HVAC display and some gloss black or faux wood trim.

Engine options remain a mystery, but previous reports have indicated the model could be offered with a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder petrol engine that develops 274 hp (204 kW / 278 PS) and 269 lb-ft (364 Nm) of torque.

Regardless of the final details, the model will be introduced early next month.
