Dodge has introduced the Challenger Rallye Redline at the Spring Festival of LXs in Irvine, California.
Based on the Challenger SXT Plus, the special edition is distinguished by a full-length body stripe, a rear spoiler and 20-inch alloy wheels with red accents. There's also a sport-tuned suspension, high-performance brakes and a revised rear axle ratio.
Interior changes are limited but include leather sport seats, a thick-rimmed steering wheel and a Mopar shift handle. There's also automatic climate control and a Boston Acoustics audio system.
Power comes from a 3.6-liter V6 engine that develops 305 hp (227 kW / 309 PS) and 268 lb-ft (363 Nm) of torque. It is connected to a five-speed automatic transmission which enables the model to return 27 mpg highway (US).
The Challenger Rallye Redline will be launched next month and pricing starts at $28,745 (excluding a $925 destination charge).
