The GS-F has been rumored for quite some time and would contribute to the Lexus product strategy to boost the image of the brand.
If Lexus product planning chief Karl Schlicht gets his way, we can expect to see a high performance GS-F on the market in the not-too-distant future. He says he would love to see the Japanese premium brand offer its own rival to the Mercedes E63 AMG.
The model is more than just the dream of one man. The GS-F has been rumored for quite some time and would contribute to the Lexus product strategy to boost the image of the brand.
It would likely share the 4.8-liter V10 engine that is used in the LFA supercar. However, displacement is reported to be reduced down to 4.6-liters and power output would be rated at around 450bhp ( 336 kW / 456 PS).
Styling of the front fascia will be dominated by the spindle grille that we recently saw on the GS F-Sport model and would also preview the design for the next generation IS range.
As plans are yet to be confirmed, it would be at least two years before the Lexus GS-F could arrive in dealerships.
