Scion has announced the 2013 FR-S will be priced from $24,200 when it goes on sale in the United States this spring.

Essentially a rebadged version of the Toyota GT 86 / Subaru BRZ, the FR-S features aggressive styling and 17-inch alloy wheels.

Inside, the cabin is nicely equipped with sport seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and an eight-speaker Pioneer audio system with Bluetooth connectivity.

Power comes from a 2.0-liter four-cylinder boxer engine that develops 200 hp (149 kW / 203 PS) and 151 lb-ft (205 Nm) of torque. It is connected to a six-speed manual transmission, but a six-speed automatic is optional. Regardless of which gearbox is selected, it sends power to the rear wheels via a Torsen limited-slip differential.
