The Citroen DS concept was spotted once again in Paris but this time completely uncovered for a photo shoot.

Located at the Place de la Concorde, the largest public square in Paris, Citroen was not very concerned with keeping the vehicle under wraps. In hearing about the event, French print magazine L´Automobile sent a photographer to investigate.

Through these photos it can now be revealed the vehicle is indeed carrying a large number 9 in its rear license plate confirming its top-of-the-range position as the DS9. This flagship model leaves a fair amount of room for Citroen to fill between the current DS3, DS4 and DS5 models.

First shown as the Metropolis concept, this DS9 concept represents a continued design evolution towards a production model which is expected to hit the market in 2013, but surely the production model will lose all of the fancy concept styling elements such as the oversized wheels, headlights and mirrors.

L´Automobile speculates the DS9 concept has a third row of seats. We will know more in the coming days.
