According to a recent report, BMW will introduce the facelifted X1 crossover at the New York Auto Show.

Details are limited, but previous spy photos have shown the model will feature modified bumpers and restyled lighting units.

Engine options will likely carryover and the US-spec model will reportedly be powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that develops 245 PS (180 kW / 242 bhp) and 350 Nm (258 lb-ft) of torque.

The 2013 BMW X1 will go on sale later this year and US sales are scheduled to begin in September.
