Porsche has released a new promotional video for the 911 Cabriolet, following its European debut at the Geneva Motor Show.

In the clip, August Achleitner highlights the car's increased rigidity, lightweight design and electronically-deployable wind blocker.

As we have previously reported, the entry-level model is powered by a 3.4-liter engine with 350 PS (257 kW / 345 bhp) and 390 Nm (288 lb-ft) of torque. It enables the convertible to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 5.0 seconds and hit a top speed of 286 km/h (178 mph) with the seven-speed manual transmission.

Moving up to the Carrera S rewards buyers with a 3.8-liter engine that develops 400 PS (294 kW / 394 bhp) and 440 Nm (324 lb-ft) of torque. Thanks to the extra power, the model runs from 0-100 km/h in 4.7 seconds and tops out at 301 km/h (187 mph) with the seven-speed manual transmission.

The Porsche 911 Cabriolet is currently on sale in Germany and pricing starts at €100,532.
