The three-door variant of the Cee'd five-door, which was recently revealed at the Geneva Motor Show, is expected to make its European debut towards the end of this year following a public debut at the Paris Motor Show in September.

Although the overall design details will carry over from the 5-door, the 3-door model will be subtly restyled for a more aggressive disposition via a sportier side profile and lower roof. Following through with its sporting ambitions, the Pro_cee'd will also receive a sportier suspension different from the 5-door. Furthermore, a Flex Steer system will give three operating modes (comfort, normal and sport) for a more dynamic driving experience.

Once again, engines will be carried over from the Cee'd 5-door, however, an entry-level 1.2-liter turbo petrol direct injection (T-GDI) engine producing between 120 and 130 horsepower will be introduced while the more potent 1.6-liter T-GDI engine already seen in the Hyundai Veloster will output 183 horsepower as a starting point.
