The F12 Berlinetta has gained so much attention that it is easy to forget that it was not the only model to celebrate its world debut in Geneva. The Prancing Horse also brought its new facelifted version of the Ferrari California for the media and the people of Switzerland to enjoy.
The 4.3-liter V8 engine that powers the California has been boosted to pump out an additional 30 ponies to bring total output to 490 PS (360 kW / 483 hp) and 505 Nm (372 lb-ft) of torque. It has also benefitted from updates to the chassis that includes edge aluminum fabrication techniques to knock 30kg (66lbs) off the kerb weight.
Ferrari is also offering a new Handling Speciale package that features stiffer springs, quicker steering ratio and improved magnetorheological dampers.
It all results in improved performance figures that includes a 0-100kph (0-62mph) time of 3.8 seconds.
