Volkswagen will be presenting four new Up! Concepts at the Geneva Motor Show next week that are intended to showcase the versatility of the production vehicle.
Swiss Up! Concept
Volkswagen wanted to show the host country of the Geneva Motor Show a bit of extra respect with this first concept.
The four-door Swiss Up! features the colors of the Switzerland flag: tornado red and white porcelain as well as an interior that's dominated by a ceramic colored leather and incorporates pockets for Victorinox Swiss Army Knives.
Winter up! Concept
The Volkswagen Up! has the capability to adapt to most inconvenient types of luggage.
The Winter Up! Concept is based on the four door cross Up! and features a roof mounted snowboard holder that can hold up to four boards. It also gets a malibu blue and pure white two toned body paint and an interior to match.
X Up! Concept
If you ever wondered what the Up! would look like as a globetrotter, here it is. The X Up!
Concept is also based on the Cross Up! and features a roof box that incorporates additional search lights as well as side panelings that protect it on the more extreme off-road terrains. The exterior gets a burned orange metallic livery and there are also additional chrome accents around the roof box's search lights.
Cargo Up! Concept
The final concept has been designed for additional luggage space and, more specifically, pizza delivery.
The Cargo Up! Concept is also based on the Cross Up! and has had all passenger seats removed in favor of a flat bed floor that is available for cargo. There are also a couple of closeable bins in the floor. It results in the cargo area being increased from 951 liters in the standard model to 1,400 liters in this concept.
The look is distinguished by its red tornado livery on the exterior and all the rear windows have a dark tint.
