The Audi Q5 was first introduced back in 2008 and engineers are now preparing the mid-cycle facelift as evident by these photographs. The prototype seen here appears to be sporting a few changes to its exterior to distinguish itself from the original model.

Under the body skin, it is very difficult to fathom what is happening. But we should expect to see some engine tuning to boost power and more importantly improve fuel economy.

The original Q5 debuted at the Beijing Auto Show which begins again in April, that may be a bit too soon for Audi so perhaps we may see it at the Paris Motor Show later in the year.
