It was just a few short days ago that the first images were released previewing the new Land Rover Evoque Cabriolet Concept, so it comes as a big surprise to see it cruising the streets in London. It was caught by Twitter user Simon Truscott who managed to get the single shot of the vehicle when he stumbled upon it on the streets of London near the Tower bridge.

The new evidence adds a big portion of substance to the production possibility of the model. It would become the first premium convertible SUV to arrive in dealerships with rumors hinting a 2014 or 2015 launch date.

There is also a possibility that the concept is merely making a pitstop in London for another promotional event. Land Rover explicitly said in their initial press release that there are no production plans confirmed.

The concept is based on the three-door Evoque and features a retractable soft-top roof that is reported to only have minor impact on the kerb weight, but full specifications are still being kept under lock and key.
