General Motors is reportedly developing a new twin-turbo 3.6-liter V6 engine.

Details are limited, but Chevrolet unveiled a Jay Leno Camaro concept with the aforementioned engine at the 2009 SEMA Motor Show. It used a pair of Turbonetics T-3 turbochargers to develop approximately 425 hp (317 kW / 431 PS). The production engine would likely be different, but still feature an output in excess of 400 hp (298 kW / 406 PS).

Speculation suggests the engine could debut on the ATS-V, but nothing is official as of yet. There's also word that a twin-turbo 3.0-liter V6 could be offered on the XTS and next-generation CTS.
