Honda has released the first images to preview the pre-production prototype of the all-new CR-V ahead of the scheduled unveiling at the Geneva Motor Show. The fourth generation model is due to be launched in the fall across Europe.

As described by Honda, the new CR-V features a bolder front fascia and more aggressive stance in comparison to its predecessor. The lower bumpers on the front and rear as well as the side skirts give the SUV a lightly lower ride-height appearance and also contribute to improved aerodynamics and driving dynamics.

Honda has failed to reveal any technical details of the new CR-V, but rumors have circulated that one of the engine options will be a 1.6-litre diesel engine that generates 118hp ( 88 kW / 120 PS ).

Full details will be revealed on March 6th when the world debut is performed.
