De Tomaso's future is becoming hazy as a new report is indicating the company has sold the production rights to the Deauville.

According to Cars UK, De Tomaso is struggling financially and has licensed the production rights to China's NAC in return for €15 ($19.3 / £12.5) million. This raises a number of questions, but the deal makes sense considering NAC is a sister company of SAIC (GM's partner in China) and the Deauville used a GM engine and a Cadillac SRX interior.

It remains to be seen if De Tomaso will survive but here's to hoping the cash will go towards the development of the Pantera successor.
