The Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 had some pretty impressive performance figures when it was revealed earlier this year. Now German magazine Sport Auto has taken it to new lengths by exceeding the previously stated top speed.

According to official figures, the Aventador LP700-4 is capable of reaching 350kph (217mph) but as this video above proves, it is capable of more. Towards the end of the video, the model briefly hits a very impressive 370 kph (230mph).

A quick recap of the hard grafted engineering found inside the supercar, the Aventador is powered by a 6.5 liter V12 engine with 700PS (690bhp / 515kW) and 690 Nm (509 lb-ft) of torque. Power is passed to the wheels via its 7-speed independent shift rod transmission (with dual synchronizers) and all-wheel-drive system.

With a low kerb weight of just 1575 kg (3,472 pounds), it enables the model to accelerate from 0-100kph (0-62mph) in just 2.9 seconds.
