Skoda has released new photos of its VisionD concept. With this batch of beauty images Skoda is emphasizing the VisionD as a preview of future design language for all future Skoda models.
Revealed in Geneva earlier this year, Skoda is hoping the new design direction will broaden the brand's appeal with consumers. In describing the mid-size hatchback in a press statement Skoda says, "The car has a strong, sporty look which conveys a beautiful simplicity and a youthful and contemporary appearance."
The VisionD concept was later followed by the MissionL concept which debuted in Frankfurt this past September. With both concepts wearing almost identical front ends and wheels, it is speculated that both concepts represent the hatchback and liftback variants of the next generation Octavia.
The third generation Octavia could have a near-production concept debut in March of next year at Geneva followed by the production version reveal in September at Paris, and finally a market launch in early 2013.
